Hello airforceotsguy!
Thank you for all the stuff that you do! Really helps me to understand the indepth of what is happening! Enlightens me just a little more!
With that being said, I do have a question about reading the timeline. I don’t really understand the difference between (civilian) and (active duty) on the timeline.
Correct me if I’m wrong but if you want to go as an active-duty officer (which I want to) then you have to have your package submitted by 1 Oct 19 for 20 OT 01? And the next one would be all the way out until 20 OT 03 which submission of the package is 7 Apr 20? or can you submit your package on 20 OT 02 which is 23 Jan 20? Please let me know. Thank you for your time
airforceotsguy
Hey Joe sorry for the delay. So the difference between civilian and active duty is who can apply for that specific board. If you are a civilian you can only apply to the ones marked civilian. All of the Line Officer boards on my site are for active duty line officers. Guard, reserve, and medical all work a little differently.

Do you know of this is still accurate? There are rumors about air force being at full strength for 2020
airforceotsguy
I have not updated this post since the rumors came out. I will check the schedule tomorrow but know AFRS probably won’t update the schedule until they finalize 19OT03
Brian
Since it’s already Nov, will the deadline for OTS applications for civilians likely be Jan 2020? It’s often been December but I haven’t seen any announcements yet, so I’m putting my stuff together but not rushing…
airforceotsguy
Hey Brian, I will be finally updating my schedules post this week since I’m finally on break from school. Feel free to shoot me an email at airforceotsguy@gmail.com
Applicant
Any word on when results will come out for 19OTS03? Rumor is 20OTS01 results got moved from December 19 to January 21. Any way to confirm that?
airforceotsguy
Stay tuned, I will update these schedule posts this week, likely tomorrow. Yes, there was a new schedule released but I haven’t looked at it in depth yet.
Rachel
Did you see that you posted the schedule on FB as no preference to rated or non rated board dates? Is that that latest schedule?
airforceotsguy
Once you click on the post you will see the latest schedule, the one on the Facebook appears to be a cached version from when I originally posted it. The correct schedule image has an effective date of 8 Nov 19 and is broken down between AD only, Civilian only, AD & civ Nonrated, and AD & Civ rated. This is a blended approach from what they have done over the past several years. I hope this helps
