FY19 Officer Selection Board – 18 Jun 18 Update

FY19 TFOT Active Duty Board Schedule – Posted

The FY19 TFOT Board Schedule, Effective 1 Jun 2018 has been posted.  Enlisted members in the RegAF can apply to the 19OTCAD rolling board with qualifying degrees, or the 19OT01 (Active Duty) Rated/Non-rated board.  The new TFOT guide will be posted NLT 30 July 2018.

The qualifying degrees for the CAD board are:

  • Architect (32E1A)
  • Meteorology or Atmospheric Science (15W1)
  • Electrical Engineering for 62EIE
  • Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering or Industrial Engineering for 32E1E Civil Engineer
18OT04 Active Duty Board scheduled in Aug 2018 has been cancelled

Thank you for your interest in serving as an officer in the United States Air Force.  Due to a significantly high volume of applications, the 180T04 Active Duty Board has been cancelled.  Many options were seriously considered before making this decision.  This change is a necessary step to allow future selects to attend Total Force Officer Training within twelve months of their selection notification.  We are anticipating a release of the FY19 board schedule on or after 1 Jun 2018.

Cancellation of the 18OT04 does not affect the Battle Field Airmen (BA) Air Force Specialties of Combat Rescue Officer, Special Tactics Officer and Air Liaison Officer Selection process. See below for BA information.

18OT02 Active Duty Selects

18OT02 Active Duty Selects are to refer back to their SharePoint file under 18OT02 board to complete the selection Instruction worksheet after reviewing the Active Duty Selection Instructions.  If selectee is unable to access their SharePoint file, complete the manual submission worksheet located with attachment in the Active Duty Selection Instructions and email it to [redacted]@us.af.mil.

Class CMS Messages

Class CMS messages – The email template states there is a problem, but there is not a problem.  It is a new notification system using another established system that is for problems.  Ensure to log in to MyPers to get the full message and contact your military personnel flight to initiate out-processing and retrieve assignment information.

Officer Selection Boards are subject to be cancelled once our accessions targets are meet
