Looking for a good OTS Recruiter in the San Antonio, Texas area

Hey try posting this in the Air Force Journey Facebook group. If you don’t Facebook I can post it for you

Hello,
Based on prior experience, does anyone know the timeline for board results? I understand the result hard date, but does that mean all board results go out on the designated date, or can the Air Force respond earlier than the aforementioned date?
Thanks
airforceotsguy
The estimated board release date above is the date for public release. Notification to selects and non-selects usually happens a few days prior to that to give commanders the opportunity to personally inform their people.
The listed estimated release dates however are usually pushed a few weeks, historically speaking. This is due to a number of factors such as higher level political funding issues, higher level Air Force manning issues/calculations, or administrative processing issues. Does that answer your question?

Hi there,
I saw someone post a screenshot of the AF Portal saying that FY20-03 Civ Non-rated boards were only accepting very specific degrees and backgrounds (engineering, architecture, space operations etc.) And that is is essentially CAD. Any idea if this is the case? Thanks!
airforceotsguy
Yes, I am hearing the same thing. Sorry for the delayed response. The boards are extremely competitive right now and limited only to the most technical degrees simply because there are no billets left. Does this help?
Colt
Does the updated schedule as of 6 February 2020 have different board dates? TIA.
Terence Sharpe
Does anyone know when the next board for nurses is? I have been trying to find a solid date but still can not confirm.
airforceotsguy
Sorry I don’t have access to that information, I think it is something only the medical side tracks.
Carl
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I’m confused on the phrasing for the boards. If applying for a rated pilot slot (active duty), could I apply for the 20OT03 board, or do I have to apply for the 20OT04 board? Wondering if the “Rated Only” applies to the Civilian, or both the Active Duty and Civilian. Thanks!
airforceotsguy
No you have a valid question because it can be confusing. If you are active duty and you want to apply for a rated slot that is the 20OT04 board. 20OT03 is only for non-rated jobs. I’ll fix the wording!
Maxim
Hello,
I am a civilian trying to understand the board dates. What is the meaning of 20OT01? Under which of them will the pharmacy board fall?
airforceotsguy
These board dates are for line officers, meaning they are divided into a rated officers who fly and nonrated officers who fill support functions such as finance, personnel, Security Forces, etc. Non-line officers are officers in the medical field such as doctors, nurses, etc. Unfortunately I have no idea how to get a hold of those schedules.
Is pharmacy an officer career field? Sorry, I’m very ignorant on the medical side
Maxim
Yes, from what you explained pharmacists will fall under Non-line officers in the medical field
airforceotsguy
Were you able to dig anything? I wish I had access to the non-line schedules.
Maxim
Unfortunately No.
airforceotsguy
I think the medical side is handled solely by recruiters, but the whole application process is completely different. Have you been in touch with any recruiters? Feel free to shoot me an email. airforceotsguy@gmail.com

With the circumstances were in, is there a new date for civilian rated board date ?
airforceotsguy
Let me log in and check the schedule.

Rumors of 20OT03 board delay until September. Does the change when applications are due? Are my rec letters going to expire?
airforceotsguy
Let me log in and see if they changed their schedule.

Any update for 20OT04?
airforceotsguy
I’ll pull the latest rosters this week.
